Message From Wolvie 03/23/08:

My new mom and I would like to send out a very big THANK YOU to all of the generous donors who made my surgery possible. I am doing a lot better now. It took me a while to realize I didn't have to keep breathing out of my mouth - I actually have a nose I can use now! Mom says I'm so quiet when I breathe and eat now that she can't even hear me anymore. No more choking or gurgling. I recovered very quickly and oh yeah - the vet said I was the cutest thing! 'Course I already knew that! Mom said she will continue to thank everyone who helped me in her prayers so that I will be able to live a long, healthy life. Happy Easter! (Now where's that chocolate bunny?)

Wolvie Update at 3:23 p.m. March 4th, 2008: Wolvie just made it out of surgery. The vet says he is doing great. They were able to remove some tissue that appears to be a polyp and were able to completely flush out the ear canal. His doctor said that he was doing well. Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen.

Update: Wolvie has been formally adopted and is in his forever home awaiting his surgery date and his second chance at a better life.

UPDATE 02/14:

We just received a pledge of $200 from IMOM and a few more donations in the mail which put us right at our goal!!!!

Wolvie is scheduled for surgery on 03/04/08. Please keep checking this page for updates.

The last (more exact) estimate we received for the cost of surgery was $1,667.

As of 02/13/08 we are $360 from that goal.
