This page is dedicated to helping local pets and families reunite with their loved ones.  If you have lost your pet, please call all of the local shelters first and ask them if they have seen your animal.  As shelters get many intakes each day, it is a very good idea to go to the shelter yourself or send someone to look for your missing pet.  Animals should be taken in according to what jurisdiction a person lives in, but sometimes animals are found several miles away.  For example; if your pet is lost in South Bend, it is a good idea to not only check with South Bend Animal Care and Control, but also The Humane Society of St. Joseph County and Pet Refuge.  Missing animal ads can be placed in the local paper as well.  Always make sure dogs are wearing collars with up-to-date information on their tags and it is highly recommended that both cats and dogs be micro chipped.  A pet who is chipped and taken to a local vet or shelter can be scanned and promptly returned to their owner.

Please help keep your eyes out for the following lost pets in our area.
